If anyone is interested, here are two wildly different reviews of "Magic Trip." The first guy really liked it, the second guy really didn't (but he may be an idiot; it's kind of hard to tell), although they both seem to me to indicate that there isn't enough here to justify a feature-length documentary:

The other Dead- (and Oliver Sacks-) related movie was really well reviewed, and also was picked up for distribution, so it should be doing the art-house circuit later this year:

Music Never Stopped looks kind of great, if you ask me - I'm really looking forward to it. Trailer is at the last link in the first post.

I agree - just viewing the trailer had an effect on me - can’t wait to see it. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for posting the info/links. In initial steps to try and get both the Prankster movie and Saint Misbehavin' to play here with Q and As with some involved. Will shamelessly plug here if comes to fruition.

You know that they did not find a buyer at Sundance, so they should to be open to all kinds of festival and other event participation. Hope that works out for you.

If I remember correctly they had like a thousand hours of footage they had to trim down. (Maybe not a thousand, but lots of editing needed to be done). I'm looking forward to it, huge fan of Festival Express. Especially Jerry strummin' in the train car with that cat from The Band.
